i am making a car game and i need to make it so when it gets to a certain speed it changes gear but i havent made it so it slows down like you do in real life when changing gears pls help

Get a car sound, delay time, make BMPs 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6,
etc and then load all the etc thingy dingys
and then you should have it then!

only slows down if you shift slow!

you'll shift at certain RPM's. You could just read the RPM's of the car and shift at around 5000, depending on what you're driving.

no it slows because u have to take ur foot of the eccelerator and no one can do it quick enough so it dont slow at all anyway thanks will try now

Yeah I'd stick with the RPM (Rev's Per/Minute). The acceleration would change aswell then. This is a very difficult bit of coding, I would have trouble doing this. Don't make it too hard for yourself.
