BOB (something to do with bitmaps i think)

BOB stands for blitter object, it means a sprite, just another term from Lee`s Amos days that creeps in

MEMBLOCK stands for memory block, you can allocate a chunk of memory and do tricks with it, like draw images or modify them faster than you could do on the screen, or use them as a big chunk of numbers that describes the tiles on your 1000x1000 map, or copy a model into it and then alter the model "on the fly", memblocks are fast to write/read to and can be used for all sorts of things like that.
