Hi,
I'm writing a few programs at the moment many of which are based around the internet. I'm creating an FTP Client, FTP Server, Webserver and my own update system for any programs I'm going to write.
I have two computers, my new XP Pro machine, and my old 98 SE Box. What I want to do is convert the 98 box into a machine that just sits there and handles all of my network programs. A server basically. I do really want to use my own software, as I can test it and shape it to my own needs.
I do only have one broadband internet connection. So what I am looking for is a cheap router that will allow me to share the connection between the two boxes. It doesn't need to be wireless, as the boxes can happily sit side by side.
It only needs two ports, and I'd like to keep the cost down. Has anyone here got any recomendations on routers that are a) pretty good and b) pretty cheap (£20-£50 range).
Back to google I go...
