Standard will be around $350, when it goes public retail.
you can currently purchase it from Microsoft Beta for $150, which it will be upgradeable to the full edition when released. This said Microsoft Beta itself can be between $400-1,800 per year

The public forums suck, it's just a bunch of whiney people who want everything changed to suit them.

Beta forums are pretty cool. Someone was showcasing thier version of Internet Explorer there the other day; .Net browser stuff is bloody fast and stable. Plus the alterations to the interface did it a world of good. Look forward to some other projects people have on the go, just wish i could be help there; but everything is WAAAY out of my league.
