I can't access the multiplayer list.
I get "Checking for updates... There's one but you can't download it.".
Anyone else have this problem?
Is the multiplayer down?
If so, is there an alternitave?

i believe even for half life 1 you will need steam to play multiplayer internet games.

Did anyone else think Half-Life Source didn't seem to be improved very much? I was given the impression that HLS would be using the higher-res textures like CS Source, but apart from the weapons (which look significantly better), it looks exactly the same.

hl source meaning multiplayer hl2 or just hl2? cause mayeb you just arent running the graphics on the settign they should be, cause you can turn it all off to get it running ont eh same specs as hl1 needed.

o ok. maybe it sjust not made for beefed up graphics, (i don't have hl2 yet, but im not afraid of spoilers or anything so go ahead and say anything fo ranyone listening.)

HL1:Source was made to show the modders how easy it is to port an existing mod over to the Source engine. I wish I would have known that before paying the extra $10 to get it :-|
