Apparent someone posted on the PC Format forums that they did it in 20 hours - whether they cheated or not is unknown though.

Seeing as the cheats in HL2 are exactly the same as the original HL, I'd say the 20 hour guy must've tried to cheat and went with it :p

I haven't beat the game yet, so I don't know whether 20 hours is fast or not.

Erm... I did it in about 20 hours the first time (on normal), and around 18 the second time (on hard). Not 20(or 18) hours straight, that just means you have no life .

By the way, my 99Mb of save games are availiable if anyone wants them...

The quickest game I've completed a game was Resident Evil 2 - that took 2 days (of non-solid gaming).
