I've run in to a problem. I have a dual display system where my standard setting is a horizontal span between my two monitors. When running any creation in DB Pro the output is spanned across the two monitors. Is there any way in DB Pro that I can make the system set itself back to the main monitor only during the running of the program??? I've seen it in some DB Pro games, but cant find the command.

Thanks

Sorted it....needed the settings changed in the project to run the screen in exclusive mode.

Strange, even in full window mode it still shouldn't use both displays - at least it doesn't for me on my dual monitor system. Mind you, what software do you use to control the two monitors? I have the excellent UltraMon, so each monitor functions independantly, if I set it to "span" mode then I guess I would see what you do.

As an after thought....does anyone know if there's a plug-in for Darkbasic Pro to allow you to use both monitors independantly. I.e. Say in an RPG to have left screen for game and right screen for stats and inv?

@Richard Davey

Generally it is set to span, and suppose that's the reason it splits over the two monitors. I presume exclusive mode makes the DB program control the OS and therefore turns the second monitor off.

Gav_b_uk, I wouldn't suggest using 2 monitors in your game. Not many people have them. It sounds like a really good idea, jsut that not many people have 2 monitors, and that won't get you good reviews
