ok so i work 2hours on this one thing and i exit out of it thinking it is safe and it says do you want to save and i say yes but strangely the project file seems updated btu not the source file wtf who cares about the project file i lost 2 hours of work thinking that that little auto save thing would be for source but nooooo it is for project file(a file that can easily be edited and configured in less than 5 minutes)
so now im switching to blue ide

and i encourage everyone to do the same so they dont lose 5 minutes or 3 hours hours of work

During my small nap, did humanity lose the ability to punctuate?

Bleh, I've just given up on trying to think up signatures.

well since i didnt want to redo all fo it i went looking thur tempfiles and found a the file (btu i still lost about 5 minutes)
but still im glad i didnt forget it then in about 2 days clean my temp files
and the idea v3(or build 3 or whatever u would call it) has a bit of a clutter but it does have tons of feature the default dont
i would consider one hting u need though the ability to fold functions(that might be in there and me nto found it yet though)

You need to use the 'Save All' button, personally, I click that around every 5 minutes or so and every single time I compile the project.

I must say, since stopping using the "#include" feature and just including my work in the Source section of the IDE.. And not having too many files open at once.. And using Save All often.. I have lost no work for months.

I have tried Blue and Twilight, etc.. They're "nice".. but I still think they feel a bit amateur... A bit VB6.. Its nothing personal to them.. I just tend to find myself back at the default IDE!! Lol..

Great comparison. "5 Minutes OR 3 hours of work"

That first post is painful >_<
