Well, the results are in! What do you all think?

I think mine is better than the 2 stars it was given (Gang Wars of New Canada), but that is because I'm biased about my labour of love

If I win a prize but it's not the Retro Gamer subscription, I will gladly trade it for the magazine, just so you know

Jeku, I think it was fair when you look at it in comparison with the Tankoids game.

The music is nice, but unfortuantely the game is missing a few important things:

- Descructable Terrain
- Computer AI
- Good special FX

I can't find the results. It still looks like they're testing to me..

I feel so... alone.

Cool thanks, Rob. About the destructable terrain--- I removed it and added my super patented terrain shifter feature instead. When a player dies, the entire terrain shifts around in realtime

Hey people what did you think of CrAzY Snake? Lol. I was a noob @ programming, but now I'm a rookie since I've made my first properly playable game ever. 2 Stars for mine! I'm hoping I get DB-Online . But I doubt it

Cheers,
Nick.

Ps. Coder, You're game kicked ass!

Prolly the same reason as me, there was nothing in the prize list he didn`t already have?, maybe we could have a compo with a 50" plasma tv or a car for first prize, that would motivate me somewhat

Mentor.

PC1: P4 3ghz, 1gig mem, 3x160gig hd`s, Radeon 9800pro w cooler (3rd gfx card), 6 way speakers.
PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.
Mini ATX cases suck.

Van B didn't want to rush and turn it into a piece of rubbish.

I really want to play his entry though, could be something special - I know they'll be a place in the showcase ready for it.

I thought mine waw better than 2 stars too (Burnt Terrain). I had descructable terrain and good special FX... althought I didnt have computer AI.

Without a breakdown of the scores it's hard to say but you might have lost marks on presentation and sound etc.

I'm suprised mine did as well as it did(CaterpillarZ, 1 star), I threw it together in about a week, would've been better if I hadn't got so much homework(damm school) perhaps i'll start when the compo starts next year

congrats to everyone who entered

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

It only took meh 4 hours to make that basics of I-snake. Then, I worked a little on it every once in a while(probably 10 hours).
Note: I overestimated Snake by a large ammount. So large, that I though it was easier to make 3D OpWolf.
