I've recently switched to FireFox, but because of this, when viewing the forums with it, the font for the code snippet box is all messed up. It's all pixellated and hardly legible at all. The font in the box shows up correctly in IE, though. Another bug I've found, although not concerning this forum, is that FireFox strangely fails to stream .wmv files in the Windows Media Player browser plug-in. I get an error stating: "The source filter for this file could not be loaded." Once again, these videos work correctly in IE. Anyone know how to solve these problems?

Attached is a screenshot of the font mess-up. Use the View button to see it.

Here's a "Comparision" shot. (And i always have to include a shot of my playlist, so people don't ask what i'm listening to )

You have to change your Font Settings to always use Browser Default..
I told Rich about this problem like a year ago, but he refused to believe that FireFox installs like that.. well anyways that solution will work, but it fudges up everything else.

That said there are ALOT of CSS problems with this site in Mozilla-Based browsers.

But then all of the fonts on the page won't look right... And then those fonts won't work on other pages correctly either.

As I said, it'll fudge up everything else, but the only other solution is to change your Windows Font to something more browser friendly.

So you really have a choice,
a/ install a desktop appearance that uses the necessary font
b/ fudge up the look of every text within Windows
c/ fudge up the look of every text within FireFox

I think what's worse is the way this forum displays in the Konqueror browser...COMIC SANS (or something very similar - when bolded, it looks nice when it's not) and most of the formatting and sizes are dead

Hmm... have been doing a bit of adding on to a program on mine, DevMenu. It is an application I made to launch my development programs from (I was starting to put too many on my desktop). I had added a mini note pad in there where I can copy and paste code so I can actually read it. While I was choosing which font to use in the mini pad, I have found that code boxes in Firefox uses Small Fonts with size 8, and size 8 makes it all pixellated. Weird, huh? I looked in the source code for one thread, and it didn't have Small Fonts in there.

All you browser are belong to Firesomething?

*back on-topic*
I didn't really notice much difference in the forums when I switched.
IMO, it looks better in FF than IE.
