Mario and neopets are completly different things. Neopets was designed for little kids, mario wasn't

I used to play neopets...but haven't for a while. There is a little secret I'd like to tell you, but I'm not sure I should so I won't...yet.

Back when my son was younger, he was a Neopets fan. I used to play some of the games and give the loot to him. There are some nice card games hidden in the mix such as Cheat.

I often end up with little 'occasions' where I'd be addicted to it, but my last one was about summer... Infact only in March this year my school had a craze for neopets.

I did it for a week. I was past the pokemon age and it lagged up my computer so I stopped.

Does anyone remember digi pets? I used to play with those, they were all the rage in school... I remember I couldn't take care of them too long because of school... and you know.. my mom doesn't even know how to turn a computer on, so good luck trying to work a digi pet. So I'd try and put it in my backpack, then at the end of the day, I'd find that it has aquired all sorts of diseases and stuff, and soon after it would die...

Good times, good times...

Never used a "neopet" before...

I remember when they were new... I was (& am) homeschooled so there was no peer pressure aspect, but I was really interested until I realized how damn ugly they were. Really a huge waste of cash, but then, I can't think of any popular product among kids that isn't, due to a lack of child advertizing restrictions in the US.
