How do i make a seamless transition between two texture on a matrix i made in matedit?

At the moment there is grass then a mountain which looks terrible!

Don't know where you'd get it - I could email it to you later, but a google search would probably find it for you. Vantrans lets you load 2 textures, and make a matrix texture from them in the combinations (directions) that you need. It uses a greyscale mask to calculate the transitions, so you could make your own sets, like if you wanted to make a road texture with bends and curves as well as the terrain transitions. It only supports 128x128 sized textures, but really a 1024x1024 image with 4 sets of transitions suits me - gives 64 different tiles (like maybe 3 texture transitions, a road, and a few detail tiles).

Vantrans is actually becomming part of MateditPro - as far as I know at least, I am sure that it'll be a while before MateditPro is finished however.

Hey I was gonna make a program that did that. And it would have used a greyscale mask . Well I already made a program that did almost that . Cool stuff
