I've been making a fighting game over Thanksgiving holiday and I have finished everything that has to do with the actual fighting, Now I need an opening screen. Can anyone Help?

(I'm open to whatever way you can come up with, Post multiple solutions if you know more than one.)

I use darkbasic classic and i practically have no experience.

One very simple way is to make a opening screen in paint and then use the load bitmap command and wait key command.

I use it at the begining of my code, but there are probably other places where you can put it.But I don't yet know as I am only a newbie and have had DB for 3 days. SORRY IF THIS IS WRONG!!!

If you want to get all fancy (and remember first impressions are important) try downloading some of the compo games and checking their source code. There's some nice menus and splash screens around.
