I know an exe is a compiled program, but what is compile for ?

Dumb question I am sure, but I can't see why you woudl want to compile..

So when it's compiled do you still need to create a seperate exe ?

And how come I can create an exe without compiling... ?

Should i always compile below making exe ?

compiling creates the .Exe
