Does anybody know where I can find a free texture maker program.
Not some trial that lasts for 30 days, or cant save.

If you're using XP, there's a really nice program mentioned in the newsletter for wood textures. It does require the .net framework to be installed, though. -JerBil

VanSeam and VanTrans. Free..Love em, and made in DarkBASIC. VanSeam you can download from this site under showcase applications (I believe), and you can probably look up vanTrans

In the event you just need some generic textures, feel free to use the ones on my site. The are completely free and royalty free as well. Goto my site and click on Textures to get to them (click sig to get to my site).

I got wood workshop and Gimp for texturing.
They are awesome.
You can do a lot in them.

I am also using truespace for 3d modeling, and it has a good 3D
paint system. You can spray paint your object in 3D space.
And it saves with the file.
