hey blender is good no one replied to me lol so i thoguth i woudl reply to u here I like thoes but that doesnt mean dont lok at the others i am not a modeeler nor gamer so i just found populartiy

Blender is a very good choice. I ahve used it myself and it is not very hard to learn, it will take time to get used to the interface though, but go to www.3dlinks.com. Has a whole list of freeware and share you can try good tuts and gives you an idea whats out there, and what can be done with some of the packages.

I got anim8or,but darkbasic says it is unable to load the object.

Yeah Dark Basic doesn't like Anim8or very much. It's a nice easy program to learn on though. I'd also suggest Metasequoia it's pretty good, but not for complete beginners simply because the help files aren't fully translated into English.

BTW Was that file that DB couldn't load an .An8(Or what ever Anim8or's native format is.) 'cause I don't think DB will read anything other than .3DS and .X maybe there's a few more but I'm not certain.

I was using Blender, but ideally I want to use lightwave, but at £1200 thats rough to see if the package is what I want. I haven't used Bryce but from what Ive seen of it, looks good and if its going cheap, hey why not.
