Every so often, it keeps giving a Microsoft Jet Database error. I believe this is because you don't have the proper permissions set for your database folder, so it can't create the database locking file. What you need to do(if possible) is give the folder the database is in the same "write" permissions that the database file has.

BTW, I'm Hyrum@r*l*i*g*h*t*s.com, not Hyritcher and you may want to remove the part at the top where it says "Online store users, you can login with your Rlights.com username and password" But it's looking good.

What do you meen. If you meen scrtips and stuff or a site that hosts them you just post you can use www.bravenet.com or you could get a phpbb2 .

Ali M Thats alot of work you looking for. Why dont you have a go and write on in php or asp I suggest PHP because there are alot of free hosts for it.

Learn some basics and then look around for some help.

How could you possibly make something as fantastic as phpbb or yabb or something..

I mean, it is a great learning experiance... but make something original

Well, the story of his forum is that I was writing one for my company's website for lighting and interior decorating, etc. About the time I got it "functional" 3D133 asked me how I did it, and if he could have the source for it to learn from. So I gave it to him to play around with. Since then, I've made quite a few updates to the forum on my website, making it so you can tell which posts you've viewed, etc.

And yes, I asked Rich about using the Apollo images, and he said it was OK. I don't know if 3D133 has permission to use them, but I don't think Rich would care.

What are these forums for? Well, they are mainly meant for discussing DBPro and related programs, but of course theres non related stuff going on too. What I'm saying, is that they were created for that. Theres helpfull users here that will help with problems with DBPRo, DBC, etc and users share their creations here. Thats the point of these forums. You can't make a single set of forums forums for general talk and then expect everyone to be so interested that they would actually care. Thats just the point I'm trying to make. Did you make that comment because you know your other arguement is completely stupid and you want to try and get back at me somehow? Pathetic. How old are you, 12?

EDIT: Just to clear this up, I wasn't talking about this guys forums. I was talking about the sort of people that create forums for no apparent reason then ask people to join, because no one will join if they don't ask, because its an exact result from creating forums with no main feature. I just wanted to say this while we were on the topic of forums.

lol, apparently I irked you a little too much today I agree exactly with what your saying benjamin, about forums with no point.

I really meant no insult to those who are using it for learning and etc. What I didn't like was seeing the other post with ali making a phpbb forum with no real work put into it.

Ali M Please read all of the threads and you cant just have the source.
hyrichter gave me that source but i learned a bit of asp first. Maybe ill give you the source if you learn a bit of asp and show me what you can do. Add me to msn
