Ok, I am here in manhattan (nyc) at Q104.3 FM for the annual radio marathon to raise money for the children's charity "Charity Begins At Home" - founded by Billy Joel. My partner and I developed their data entry software blah blah and we are here for the event kick-off Monday morning at 9 AM. Anyone in the nyc area put on 104.3 fm and listen to the great rock and roll, join auctions for great prizes, or just make a donation and get a kick-arse T-shirt or sweatshirt with 2004 marathon logo by Peter Max. It's for a great cause! This is my 4th year on the project and every year the totals have gone up - last year we had almost 9000 records transacted and raised $440,000 - let's beat it this year!

The event goes 104.3 straight hours starting monday 9am.

I'll be back in the ranch sometime monday afternoon, although I will try and check these boards in the interim.

nice one! mate

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

Thanks!

our software has processed and transacted nearly 2 million dollars so far for this annual event - we are rewriting the software in .NET starting this january (nice and lesiurely with lots of testing) to be ready by next december's event. It will be a combination of asp.net(vb.net) data entry clients, and a data-engine (vb.net exe) which will cut us from a deployment nightmare to basically a zero-deployment schema - w00t!
