Why every time i make a new post and a mod accepts it, does my post not bump the topic it is posted in and why does it not show up that i was last to post there?

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=44219&b=1
example 1

and example 2 is the x factor topic in this category, when i posted it had no effect on where the topic was + my name didnt show up as last post.

Is it just that i need to clean my cache/saved info (which i dont really want to (dial up))

Or is it the forum.

Accepting a post doesn't bump the topic. I don't know whether when posting while premodded does bump a thread as well.

It might not, since it'd look too weird have already read threads jump to the top of the forum.

It's the forum. Your message is saved in order it was received, even if it hasn't been approved yet. This is probably due to the fact that your message has a certain ordered ID that is created when you post, regardless of approval.

Ah that makes perfect sense actually, thanks Jeku.

So anyone know when i will be able to post freely like everyone else?
cos it is rather annoying having to get each post validated.

We can't let you know exactly (us mods don't even know ) but it will stop after a not horribly long expanse of time.

I seem to remember one of the mods giving away how long that time was . Rich may have changed it, but I won't say anyway(firstly because Rich doesn't want anyone to know, and secondly because I may get banned for it ).

I know what else it could be.

Yeah, but you missed one of the posts which gave it away, and I had to clean up after your clean-up.

It was Rob, but really does it matter? It's changed since then. Ilya is as usual talking crap . Nobody knows the new time but Rich.

If you think about it and look at how long it takes for people to go through you might see a pattern (or not see one more to the point lol).

doesn't matter anyways... fact is it's to stop gross spammers who do it out of some twisted off-beat whim, now they have to plan thier little mind-warping attacks.
