Major Payn, you may have drawn that, but you didn't come up with the design for it The "real" photoshopped pic was floating around ~2+ weeks ago.

^Dont take that the wrong way. The pic still kicks major butt.

Freeman Crowbar versus raw, unadulterated, MJOLNIRified Master Chief?

I think you have your winners confused.

First of all, that's called plagerizing. Good job. Secondly, it's impossible to rip through armor, flesh and bone with a crowbar. So both your plagerized work and the original don't work.

The real battle will be when Doom3 and HL2 are released on XBox and go head-2-head with Halo2 for real. Personally I don't think they stand a chance.

I have finished Doom3, Half-Life 2 and Halo 2 but when I think of replaying these games, I get really de-motivated and feel bored. Maybe I'm just weird.

no it isnt, crow bars are used to open secure things, im sure you could pry open some armor then stab or hack at someone with the pointy ends of it, then hook teh hook part into the chest cavity and pry it open. the human body can be very resilient, but still frail.

Rpg Cyco-> I've been feeling that about just about every game recently, actually. A phase? Or maybe I'm growing out of them -- I just haven't liked the idea of playing games as much for the past several months. It's a bit weird.

Payn-> Always credit all sources.

How is it plagerizing? I drew a picture I found on the net, I didn't print it out and slap my name on it, it is still my own work. Plus, it was made by taking artwork from Hl2, and artwork from Halo and adding them to a scene, so did I plagerize, plagerized work? LOL

It's still their concept and composition. When you draw something with the Master Chief and Gordon Freeman in it, it's so obviously a work of tribute you don't need to specifically give credit (Though some people still do in disclaimers). However there is no way to tell, unless you have seen the original image, that "your" drawing was copied from someone else's work, and since you don't give them credit, it's clear plagarism. It doesn't matter if you don't have your name on it, you said it was yours

No, he said he drew it; he didn't say he came up with the design only that he drew it.

I love it when anyone plays the "why do you care" card because I can always play it right back ...

Quote: "No, he said he drew it;"

If someone draws something and doesn't mention any sources it's natural to assume they came up with it theirselves. Even if you don't know the particular source you can say it's a copy or a sketch over.
