Looks awesome, you might want to lightmap that room to make it look more professional.

The floor around the table looks weird with no shadows.

Actually, it looks like it is lightmapped but very lightly and the table isn't casting a shadow.

Looks really good - I love the room
I'm making a pool game at the moment too (it's also in the wip forum). I've cheated though - I've made the background just plain black
I think it definitely needs a darker lightmap, especially around the pooltable. And some pockets on the pooltables wouldn't be a bad idea either

this looks really good.
you have done a great job and I love that light reflection effect on the pool table.

but maybe you should fix the pysichs.. the balls spin and rolls way too much and alomst never stops it seems like.

anyway, awesome game. you make me feel like making my own pool game, but unfortunately I dont know how to use Newton yet..

are you using Newton or did you write your own collision/ball physics code?

17 FPS is caused by capturing game to video. We have lightmapped room, but we maybe improve lightmaps. At begining we used own physics but one month back we rewriten it and now use Newton (thanks to Walaber).

The frame rate was the only concern but if that is caused by video capturing then there is no probs! Looks really good.

Wow.I like it, but one thing: can you [not specifically you, but other people too] not save preview videos in AVI format. I like looking at videos of upcoming projects, but with hefty AVI files, it makes quite a long download. [Use windows movie maker and compress it to WMV]

Or download VirtualDub (dont worry its free) and then you can compress to DivX format. Also does a good job with sound.
