My game is a simple puzzle game and only needs a couple of animated sprites. I see the create animated sprite command, not sure how to use it. Should i use that or swap my sprites manually?

With the create animated sprite command can I create a animation then paste it into several different places in the way i would create a image then paste several sprites that use that image?

Why don't you try using

PLAY ANIMATION TO IMAGE Animation Number,Image,Left,Top,Right,Bottom

Using this you just texture several sprites with the same image, or just paste it to the screen

Would i be right in saying that command is more for playing video files. I want to make my animation from a bitmap with 4 of 5 frames.
