I'm pretty much played out with Diablo II unfortuantly. It was a really fun game and worth the money, but at this point the multipayer is no longer fun for me

I played through diablo and D2 and then moved onto Dungeon Siege. Although Siege is lacking in a few things (weapon combos and items aren't quite as well done) overall the game play is better, and its really hard to go from a beautiful endless 3D world back to a crappy looking 2D pixelated world.

I did love diablo, but DS is much better. DS2 is coming out soon as well, I think, if it isn't out already.

I always thought Diablo II looked quite good, especially in 800x600. The graphics are technically very poor quality, but I found it to be very artistic nevertheless. Masterpiece on poor canvas

Oh yeah, it's quite well drawn, but everything 2D of that ilk looks tired these days, I find.

I only ever played diablo 2 online once, and I only found the idiots who wanted to fight each other, so I gave up. (I did try to find a game for nearly half an hour)

I currently have a level 20 hardcore barbarian on version 1.10. Best character I every managed was a level 54 assassin. Kinda got too hard since I didn't put anywhere near anough points on vitality.

Great game, strange that X8 antialiasing actually does improve the picture, slightly.

I don't suffer from insanity:

I enjoy every minute of it!

I got:

Lv 82 Amazon (javalins)
Lv 78 bowazon (WF)
Lv 77 Assassin (pure ownage char, using WW)
Lv 70 Palladin (Zealer)
Lv 80 Sorcerress (lightning)
Lv 45 Barbarian (gave up on him)

and also a screwed up Druid, another Amazon and some other hobo.

The thing I like about D2 over other games, it's pretty easy to take a char from level 1 to level 80 in just 2 days, once you know the best places and methods.

Unlike *cough* Priston Tale, where you must mindlessly farm poor furry creatures for hours just to gain one level...

and yea Simon, I'm thinking of getting Dungeon Siege aswell. Is it on-line?

EDIT: true, the d2 graphics look outdated, but it's not half bad in 800x600 (a good improvement over the non-expansion 640x480 Diablo II)

And the animations and lighting in my opinion are still impressive
