does anyoe know what microsoft uses for their modeling program?

"Microsoft" is a company which has acquired several game development studios and publishes for many external studios. But Bungie in particular uses 3d Studio Max.

i saw somewhere, a bungie forum or the halo2 bonus dvd, that they use a variety, such as 3dsmax and i think maya, as well as ones that they wrote themselves.

if your looking for a modeller to replicate a game, i tell you any modelling app could do the same, the only difference the modeller makes is how easy/time consuming it is to make the models.
