Im trying to make a skybox that will replace the default 'darkbasic blue' background in my 3d world

currently I have this:



This makes the background all pure white however, when I come to use the color object command, it no longer has an effect.
Could someone please share with me the secret to creating proper coloured skyboxes? ^_^

Screw the rules...what can i blow up?

If you are just using a coloured backdrop then just use 'color backdrop rgb(r,g,b)'.

The color backdrop command is deprecated apparently...

I plan to add a texture to my skybox eventually, but I need it to not react to the lights in the 3d world, so the user cannot see that it is a box.

Screw the rules...what can i blow up?

Go to the DarkBasic Pro forum, and download some of Clueless' free skyboxes. They include the box model needed to use them.

wow, thanks alot! Those free skyboxes just made my life a hell of a lot easier!

Not only that, but they look great too!
