Why do new members of the forums have to wait for a Mod to approve his post before it can be seen. Why do older members see their post right away. And if thats how Its supposed to be than how long until I can see my posts right away.

Only the moderators see the posts right away.

Richard Davey, the site's webmaster, is the only one who knows the length. But it's enough time to decipher if the poster is a good or bad guy/gal

Soon - it doesn't take long. One day, it'll just "happen" for you and you probably won't even notice it.

It's to stop people signing up for one night just to spam the forum from multiple accounts.

What Jeku meant to say, was that only Moderators see new user's posts right away.

"bad catergorys(sorry spelling)"

i find it somewhat humorous that you know you've spelled "categories" incorrectly, yet fail to correct it

and as manticore has demonstrated, there are some people who might need to have their posts monitored indefinitely.

"when it's done" means "we have no idea, we forgot to do that; we were hoping you would all forget we promised <insert exotic promise here>"

In keeping with every good developer's style, the o/p knows they've done something wrong, but doesn't care.
