In one of the dbpro demo's i think it is the video one, there is a sort of screen capture with audio, what software could you use to make that sort of video

Fraps, it's used quite a lot around here, with the demo your limited to 30 second movies though.

Only the Application your currently running, this can be DirectX or OpenGL.

Provides you with FPS, and Recording
It's pretty cool, but you'll need to register it to do much with it.

You could try that Windows Movie Maker that comes with XP - it might let you record what you need.
