... On this month's issue of Web Designer (Issue #101). I missed the free bryce boat and I couldn't (be bothered to) find a copy of the appropriate magazine. Anyway since my train was cancelled this morning I had a wander into the shops and bought the mag for VdE 3.0.

Skyboxen-a-plenty!

Adr, Computer Arts is still current, as David says. I got Bryce on 3D World, and then lost it Not happy.

How does Vue D'esprit compare with Bryce?

I'm not sure as I haven't used it yet... The screenies on the mag looked nice and natural though. All I need is to make a game that needs skyboxes...

I've just moved house (incidentally, I replied to a thread on this forum on the 28th of May, and mentionned "moving house soon" - 7 months is not soon! *sigh*), and so everything is still in boxes. I haven't unpacked my computer and worse yet [drum roll] I won't have internet until after new year.

I have no idea how I'm coping ...

Bryce is everywhere this month.. I have like 4 copies of it here! Bryce 4 Mac version was on Mac Addict mag and Mac Format, the PC version on PC Plus and Computer Arts. I'm amazed it wasn't on 3D World too (but a whole stack of great 3DS Max 7 tutorials were).

Bryce renders heightmap textures too - very nicely. They look a bit off when loaded into Pro however
