Hi All,
Fairly new to all this so please be nice.

I've writen a basic game in DBC and all is OK. Make the object colide using boxes and it's fine but if I change it to use polygons after a few minutes of moving around the program frezes. The only way out is Ctl,Alt,Del.

Any suggestions as to what the problem may b would be appreciated.
Running win XP, directX 9 and DBC with patch 1.13.

So, it just seems to stop if you have it with '.. To Polygons' on?

Hmm, strange indeed...

Hopefully someone has encountered this before and can offer an explanation and hopefully a fix for it

Jess.

Oh dear, I was hoping this was a known bug
The polygone colision detection works very nicely, far more accurate than boxes but only any good for a couple of minutes till it hangs.

set object collision to polygons path1_o
makes it fail while...
set object collision to boxes path1_o
is fine. It's not a big prog, just a couple of cars a road, 2 paths 2 kerbs, and 2 fences all controled from a joysrick (Wheel in my case)

ok, I've reduced the code to it's bare minimum that I know of and it's still doing it!

The code runs for a couple of moments then locks up and requires a ctrl, alt, delete to get out of it. If anyone can tell me why I'd love to know.
Alterantivly if anyone is willing / able to run the code and let me know if it works on their machine that would also be a great help.

warning the following code hangs my machine!
If you are going to try it please ensure that you close all programs first for your own saftey but I would really appreciate it if someone could try it. I take no responcibility for any harm it may cause your system.
