Is dark basic pro capable of handeling massive online rpg games?

DBPro is capable of handeling online game. Game type doesnt change that.

there is a limit to 256 players in darkbasic pro if im not mistaken. Ill have to have a look in to the program CattleRustler sugested it has got me interested.

My EZ_Serv app doesnt have any numeric limitation as it is running pure sockets via tcpip, but for a server box to run 256 users I'd suggest some fairly decent bandwidth and hardware

post any coments and or questions about ez_serv in that thread, thanks.

Nicely said CattleRustler. Is DarkTOPIA using this serv app? I just got chewed out by mouse for saying that an MMORPG can't be programmed in DBP alone. I said you'd need a third party dll to handle more than 256 connections.
