Geek Culture / strange animation thingy on forum

sometimes when I try to open a link I get an animated image on a blank page, the image is just on the top left of the page, I took a screenshot of it, can anyone tell me what it is?

PC1: P4 3ghz, 1gig mem, 3x160gig hd`s, Radeon 9800pro w cooler (3rd gfx card), 6 way speakers.
PC2: AMD 2ghz, 512mb ram, FX5200 ultra, 16 bit SB.
Mini ATX cases suck.

it looks like aome sort of animated image.... hehehe.

Sorry mentor, no idea at all.

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

so its a forum bug then?, I did think it might be an animated sig, but I don`t see that sig in the threads when I do get em to load correctly, ghost in the machine??
