so is there a basic language that makes dlls and free(or at least to make the dlls)

Doesn't QBasic allow you to make .dll's? There is definitely a free basic that does, but its not very good or easy to use.


Cubes with guns? Something isn't right...

You could probably do it with vb.net. It's free if you use notepad to program with.

Its also free if you grab the .Net SDK and google "Sharp Develop", which is a free IDE - which closly resembles Visual Studio IDE, for .Net Applications [C#, VB.NET etc...].

But you cant immediatly use VB.NET DLLs in DBP/DBC Enchanced, But someone is making a tool to convert VB.NET DLLs to DarkBasic compatable, Check the Work In Progress forums .

try purebasic
you can create DLL with it and it's an excellent language tu use in // to dbpro

its not free
qbasic doesnt cause since when did ms-dos support or use dlls
i dont want .net cause i hate .net frameowrk
