hey, I just got spyware again and it makes me so mad!!!!, I hate it so much i wanna just....ok anyway i think im right when I say spayware is the most annoying crap ever!!! So does any one here know of any good anti spyware programs? and also feel free to flame spyware and hate it all you want (i dont know if you can use pg-13 language in this forum so if so, spyware is a piece of ____________)

Spybot: Search & Destroy does the job, and Firefox reduces the chances of you getting spyware and adware.

Lavasoft's Ad-ware is also a very good one.

I use Spybot S&D and AdAware, doing a sweep of both is a good idea. I was getting about 40 infections a week when using IE - since switching to Firefox I've gotten about 8 in total. I'd suggest getting StartPage Guard, it's free - and it's a good defense against homepage changing malware.

I do download quite a few things plus I have a theory that the java virtual machine (jvm) is not doing its job and spyware is coming from it

I'd rather have peace in mind than have the world watch what I do every day. Besides, spyware and adware slow down performance.

My lavasoft adware/Spybot S&D(immunization and scan) eat spyware for breakfast.

Forget spyware, it's the virus's i hate. I've gotten that one virus that makes copies of all your files continuously so it fills up your hard drive space twice.. Grar
