Hi All
(hope I am in the right place with this question)

Anyone come across any <umknow> error code when compiling there progs, A friend of mine computer comes up with this error, first thought its was not having dx9 installed so have updated that but comes up with the same error.

Was trying to run a compiled prog on his machine but it would not work, so down loaded Dpro trial, to see if that would cure problem, but still comes up with unknow error.

anyone ad thhis fault and how did the slove it

his system is ME, DX9, DPro trial.

Is DirectX working ? Latest video drivers ?

yep spent a few hours upgrading to DX9c but did not seam to solve prob, the fault only comes back with <unknow> it the dialog box.

What about the video drivers though ?

I think we did that but not sure, will have to wait until next I with him, althou I thought we had the uptodate drivers but begin a 3d prophet 9000, not the easiest to upgrade.

Should be easy to upgrade with the latest Catalyist drivers.

trow out of the window your vcard and buy an ATI or NVIDIA. DBPRO works at 100% only with the newest vcard.

turns out to be my mates computer did not have dircet X 9 on it all works ok now cheers
