What do you guys think about the choice between the SDK and DB Pro?
Am I right in thinking you can write your code in VB.Net and make calls to the SDK for displaying sprites, timing, sound effects etc.
I have used vb for hundreds of years and VB.net for 1 1/2 years So it would be easier for me, and I would be able to write much better structured OO code. Would I be better off using DB pro or .Net? I would imagine that the bigest downside is that anyone playing the game would need the .NET framework.
Any opinions gratefully received.

If you dont have the non .Net version of C, then get DBPro.

Could there possible be a chance to have compatiblility in te future? I see a great market just waiting to be plugged. Imagine how many managed coders (My name for people who use C# or VB.NET)are out there just waiting for something like DGSDK.
