Hi,
I backed up my emails because I was going to format my computer.
All went smoothly and my computer formatted nicely.

Problem now is that Outlook Express wont let me import my old emails. I have imported emails before but it wont work now. I get an error when I choose the directory which contains the .dbx files i want to add.

I have asked around and this seems to be a common problem that people have. If everyone who has gone through this would leave some advice it would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks,
Nicolas R.

Yes it does complain about a file being in use. I don't see how it could be because its not. It also does not specify which one.

Get back to me please.

Thanks,
Nicolas R.

Its a problem I had before and I cant remember how it got sorted...

I think a new profile may have been needed to import too.

Well if it comes to mind on how you solved it please come and post it. I would greatly appreciate it. Not very good when you got important emails that you cant view. But again if it crosses your mind please post it.

If anyone else knows anything please let me know.

Thanks,
Nicolas R.

yup.

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

Still cant remember exactly what I did - I think it was creating a new profile, switching to that profile and then importing in the e-mails. It was over a year ago

Because the helicopter can be infested with Tribbles (bugs), forcing a rather perilous fall...
