I used the command, but the cylinder dosen't look solid. May be its the camera position. I had made a box using its corresponding command. That looked good. Is there a way to make the cylinder look solid like the box?

A screenshot or some code would help me find the problem. My guess is your looking inside the object because the camera is too close to the object. If that is the problem, you can use the set object command to fix it. But that probably isn't it since I haven't an idea what your talking about. Please throw a screen shot up here and some code so I can have a look

Cylinders are not capped on either end like you would expect. A better description is a 'tube'

There was talk that a future patch will have an extra flag to make cylinder solid. (wouldn't hold your breath though). Best bet is to make your own in a 3d modelling package.

Here's an attachment of a cylinder for you, it's in .x format and it's untextured.

WindowsXP Home(Service pack 2), Athlon XP 2400+(2.1Ghz), 1GIG Ram, Ati Radeon 9800Pro 128MB.

Alternatively try:

Turning object culling off seems to work.

Turning the cull off just makes it look solide in certain angles.
