Wendigo.
I will add him to the credits list at the bottom.
The news thing now is in css
edit: ironic, 20 views, no people have even spoken=/
fixed error, where if you typed into the bar something like:
http://network.programmersunited.com/forumview.php?forum=18

I added more css stuff. It looks way different from my original. Infact I could remake my original. I few text, a bunch of non-existant links, and a white horrifing backdrop:S. Any way. CSS is turned this site from a dry mud pit, into better than ivbd(not yet...but in time )

Edit.. Edit edit edit...

It's a beautiful forum, except there is no friendly color scheme.

Throw in some pink, and BAM, you're set.
(My forum is fuschia & crimson & pink)

yes but they would still be loaded as .asp, otherwise the php file would just be a php file, you can't put asp in it can you?

well, if asp works anything like php, it's quite possible you'd have to write it and give it one of the above extensions, output a new file with the other extension so that that file can be parsed by it's interpreter

Ok, now I'm confused I'm pretty sure you can't have php and asp in the same file without some external convertor. I thought you meant he could have written it in ASP and used a convertor to make it PHP (don't know why)

who knows..

Yes you can have two different scripting languages in the same file..

For example javascript and php

The this is, javascript is interpreted on the client computer once it's loaded... so the file would go through the php interpreter, get sent to the client and have the java interpreted.

With php and asp together, you would have to output to the server machine, and run the asp page through the asp interpreter before it gets sent to the client machine..

It wouldn't really be worth the trouble to do it, just food for thought
