Geek Culture / New Computer parts trouble

ok i just got a new mobo and case, the A7V600-X mobo and the xbade case i installed every and when ever i press the power button the all the fan's LED lights flash once and the heatsink fan just moves a bit and stops and nothing else happens. The light on the mobo is on so the motherboard does work. and thats my problem any advice?

Shoddy power supply/not enough power to the motherboard/other parts of the computer?

If I'm correct, certain parts need their own power lines from the power supply to run at all. Check the plugs.

Dunno how much I can help from their though, I only shop for part configurations, I've never actually built a computer before.
