I prolly shouldnt be postign this, but im so excited that you all get to have a look at our very early screenshot.


its pretty bright i know, we will be setting the ambient light down a notch caus ethe playe rmodel is way too bright. We are close to presenting a demo too, with health and item collecting, maybe by the end of the weekend

Looking cool Rob, I like the cartoony look to it, certainly the best way to get DB looking respectable these days.

I have an old monkey called Gee you could have, he's more of a gorilla really, and would need a cartoony texture, but he would fit in. I have to send you that synd stuff anyway, should I throw in Gee too?

Looking good, one thing about the screenshot is that the hero looks very much like Pricess Jasmin from Disney's Aladdin.

I really like the look and feel of your game, as Van B said, it has a cool cartoony feel to it

thats a lie and you know it! wait, i mean yeah it was modelled off princess jasmine, it was modelled after a girl in sydney who uses jasmine as her avatar on msn.

awesome! i already have pirate mineky as a character, but i can sure use another monkey model for other characters, maybe one of the generic bad dudes is a pirate shirt wearing gorilla. is it animated at all?

IIRC he has a monkey style walk, like leaning forward on his knuckles then swinging his legs forward. If you need it animated then just let me know once you've seen it, it was one of my first animation jobs, so it's probably a bit crude.

hah crude is what we are all about. yeah that kind agorilla animation is fine dude, i can throw toegther other ones, err that is ifits ina format useable by milkshape even so if it isn't he can jsut be a npc that walks around town.
