Making a mp3 player for windows
This questions i need answered, and some code if any one got

1 - Is it possible to get the actual playtime from mp3
and display it counting from 00:00 - to what ever playtime mp3 got?

2 - any helpfull code/input about making playlists...

give ppl more than an hour before you go on a spam spree. Yes it's possible to do anything with an mp3, just read the different chunks in the file. Do a search for MP3, someone posted code to get all the ID3 Tag info and even the different chunks I think.

Look in the code base, I know theres something in there for reading Wav header files

Yea i got the id3 tag reader thingy its faulty...



However the idv3v1 works not the idv3v2

hmm got the wav file header thingy too, nothing in it
about getting playlenght

There might be something in the bass.dll that enables this, not too sure though....
Try getting TCA's bass plugin and checking the docs for it just in case
