Anyone come across problems with the above? I can't log in to my internet banking because it gets a "Page Cannot be Displayed". If I try Win 2000 via the same router, everything is fine.

There's so many pages relating to problems with IE on the net, it's impossible to find my specific problem

It could be the security (or lack thereof) settings, or ad-blocking (if it needs a popup window).

You could try another browser to see if the problem is SP2 with IE or just IE

Hello,

1. before you click on the link, hold down CTRL button (it's probably XP SP2 thing, which prevent popup windows)

2. try Firefox

Have a nice day,

OK, more info...

1. Ad-blocking switched off
2. Windows Firewall switched off
3. Although site only supports IE, I tried Firefox. This also gets a Page Not Found.
4. Pinging gets interesting results. On Win 2K, it resolves the name to an IP address and then returns unreachable. this seems reasonable, as it's a banking site, so I would expect pinging to be blocked. On XP, it can't even resolve the address.
5. I've flushed the DNS, no joy.
