Is it possible to set the volume for a specific sound or music track? So that I could make it softer or louder?

That works for sounds only, not for music tracks.

SET MUSIC VOLUME
This command will set the volume at which the music is playing. The default value is 100, as a percentage of the standard volume of play. A value of 50 means the music is
playing at half the normal volume where 200 will play the music twice as loud.

SYNTAX
SET MUSIC VOLUME Music Number,Volume

never tried it to see if it work's if the syntax for set music volume dosen't work, couldn't you just load you music as a sound and use set sound volume anyway's?

Set music volume doesn't seem to register as a command, and It is not in the command list either???

Well anyways, changing it to a sound is no problem, works the same anyways, so I will just do that.

Thanks.

This was a problem for me too a while back. The Set Music Volume command doesn't give you an error, but it doesn't work either. So, what I do is I use the "Sound Recorder" program under accesories in the start menu in windows. In Xp you can just right click over your music file and then click "Record" and it will open just open the Sound Recorder program for you.

Once your in the Sound Recorder program find "Effects" at the top and then click either "Increase Volume" or "Decrease Volume".

However, the file must be in the .wav format not .mid, so if its not in the .wav format you will need to use somehing to change it.
