If you have... TRULY BOTH bought DBPro, then it's probably OK.

But we're skeptics and you have to deal with that.

well, We both own a LEGALLY BOUGHT copy of DBPro, so i guess it´s ok then.
And (I´m probably being stupid now) what does warezing(or how it may be spelled) mean?

I know, I´m dumb!
But at least I admit it...

ya ya, play dumb

Warez are illegal and stolen, versions of programs.

Warezing is the swapping (usually for free or for cheaper than the full price)of said programs.

If he's missing the files and he apparently legally bought the program, then why doesn't he just reinstall it?

I think *technically* it's probably only legal if you are 100% certain that the other person owns the software. If you guys live in different countries and have never met in real life, I'd not venture into that territory if I were you.

There's a very real chance you could be banned for that, don't let it happen again.

if he is just missing the RGB Picker then just have him download the trial and install the files he needs from that. provided he has the legal compiler the other components are completely freely available from the Trial version.

RGB Picker is in the editor directory, I forget where.
This said, are you using the Standard Editor or Blue?

look, I bought this from amazon, and if there´s a problem with my copy, then it´s their fault.

And by the way, both me and The Nerd have got a legally bought copy of DarkBASIC Professional, but I´m missing some plugins.

Can The Nerd send them to me, and is it LEGAL?

I would like a yes or a no, ´cause The Nerd wants a direct answer before he will send me the plugins.

That's what customer support is for. You'll have to go through the regular protocols we all do if we have a question for the TGC team. None (or most) of us are not lawyers, so you'd be foolish to take our advice anyways.

Well, he´s seen my copy of DBPro, and I think he can see that it´s not an illegal copy.

Jezus, why do you need the color picker anyway?

Open up MSPAINT and double click on any color below... Tadadada, a RGB color picker

Anyhow, MSPAINT should be their if your windows is not illegal / warez

Why not just use Hubdule's? It's one of those utilities we wrote years ago in VB for the normal editor. Not that I know much these days; I've had no time for pretty much any DB coding (although it was VB) since

Excellent. Just realised it's almost been 2 years since we wrote those plugins. So it's been something like 3 or 4 years since we were all *seriously* annoyed at DBP's slow development. Heh, even better was network stuff. Shame I lost the email reply from Lee saying something like "Network commands will be developed for DB by November 2001". It was september or so at the time and everyone was well annoyed about lack of network support. Thought I had the answer for us all from Lee at the time until I re-read the email and realised that it was 14 months away! (it was September 2000). Feel free to add a year or so, goldfish memory and all....

Cheers
