Yeah, I've gone through the tutorials, and stuff like the mip-mapping and collision detection and a bunch of other stuff won't work because the commands don't "exist". Set matrix teture an make sprite tagline and stuff like that won't register. I have to delete tons of code to get the game to work, and on the final part of the "game" it says :

This is REALLY annoying to say the least. Can anyone help me?

If' you've got a game written in dark basic professional none of the commands will work. Your best efforts to port it over may send you mad. IF it's got anything setting GLOBAL at the start of the program you can bet the functions won't work. Just try and get something from the tutorials rather than getting the game to run. As I say porting it to make it work will take time, then you can fiddle about with gravity or add new guns in. Fun stuff I agree. Maybe you should look for other source codes.

But the Binary Moon tutorials are written in DBC. So I really don't see any relevance between what you're saying and what I asked. I don't have DBPro anyway.

Well I went to the binary tuts and downloaded Limit Rush.. downloaded the code with the media .. 0.53mb

Seems I'm having problems loading the LOADMATRIX.dba stuff.. so I whips the function right into the other code... then it started saying stuff about CAN'T LOAD MUSIC..

well it's very frustrating when a nice long complex tutorial like this doesn't work on your machine..

only thing I can ask is are you using a demo version? I myself is using the LITE version which I paid £10 odd for.. I searched the boards for Bonary Moon and Limit Rush aswell in the Newcomers section... no one seemed to say stuff apart from some saying that the demo version might not be able to load these things.. fancy stuff like MIDI files.. only .X models.. so I'm pretty shocked at this news. Sorry, I can't help anymore.. this problem was posted around 2003 and no one ever gave help. Nor me.
