Sounds like you've been ripped-off £44 for a pirate copy with a lame excuse. Am amazed ebay even let the auction through.

I saw an auction on ebay a few weeks back for lightwave 8, it was going for $15, but still had hours left for the bidding, i emailed the guy and asked was it a pirate copy, i didnt get any reply and so didnt bid.

After the auction ended and someone had paid $200 for it he e-maild me and said yes it is a pirate and the asking price is $180, i couldnt believe it, he also mentioned that ebay keep closing his accounts, i wonder why, lol

I checked his sellar history and he had also sold a copy of maya 5 for $500.

@!hi! if youve paid £44 for a copy youve been ripped off, i would contact ebay as soon as you get it and try and get your money back under there protection system.
