Ok, im maknig a fps and i used the same exact code. And heres the results i get when i run the game in dark basic, and dark basic pro.
Darkbasic classic picture

Dark basic professional picture

now can someone explain to me why is it that my object appears transparent and clipped in dark basic classic, but it appears correct and solid in dark basic pro? Is there some code that professional automatically calls that classic doesn't?
I would really like to solve this problem so i can make a decent first person shooter. Thanks and help if you can . thank u

On your gun object, use Disable Object ZDepth and that should fix it up for you

Also, you must remember that you can't really compare DBC and DBP code and expect to have a fair comparison, because the DBP engine is not the same as DBC. It was written from the ground up, and doesn't have anythign to do with DBC, except that its from the same people has some of the same commands

Make sure you load in your gun model after your hand model, and make sure you don't haven't disabled the Z Depth on the hand, then Disable it on the Gun, and it should work.
The reason being that I think Objects with Disabled Z Depth get rendered in order of creation. So the last created object will be rendered last ( coming out on top of everything else )
