I saw the trailer, and now I have to wonder: Yeah, it looks cool enough, but people acted like episodes 1 and 2 were crap. I liked episodes 1 and 2 (except for the love scenes anyway), and I don't know why people said it was junk. This one has to be different though, because it will have Chewbacca in it! And Jar Jar probably will die, because he wasn't in the first trilogy! Mace Windu too. So what do you think? I know most of you will probably say you hope Jar Jar will die.

Episode III will suck like all Star Wars movies did. All star treck stuff sucks too. You definately tell that I am not a trecky or Star Wars fanatic. Even though my brother is in to it.

ALL NEW STAR WARTS (yes I misspelled it on purpose) MOVIES WILL SUCK!!!
I'm sorry but it's true I loved the older ones 4,5,and 6 I think is what they would be. But Gorge Lakeass (yeah yeah so I spellt that wrong too) has bumped his head too hard or somthing cause you'd have to be high to dream up jar-jar finks.(Hmmmm my keyboard seems to be broken)
And who ever runs auditions needs to be shot where it herts most cause I could act beter than anyone they've hired sofar, and I even get stage fright up the wazoo! Honestly my last statment was regrettibly(SP) true.

So from now on if I want Sci-FI I'll watch The Roughnecks Chronicles the animated series(Jus' Cause their sooo cool), Pitch-Black, Alien, and Resident Evil the movie 1. Just my two coppers.

I've bein driving since the age of three; if you don't belive me ask my parents, you can find them at the county hospital for the mentally imbalanced.

For once I'm actually not going to watch any of the trailers or read any of the reviews (I didn't even read the above post, just the title ), no prior hype means no ruined expectations... unlike last time where Anakin's double lightsaber battle only lasted 3 seconds, garhhh!

i am afraid that it will suck,
but that trailer was actually awesome.

george lucas made so many mistakes trying to appeal to
a large audience, when he already HAS a large audience.
jar jar for "kids", love story for "adults",
well known actors (although no complaints about natalie portman!)

it will suck but i will love it anyway. it is star wars.

I have to say the bit in II with the robot factory was like saying to everyone who ever enjoyed star wars: "Haha, we have your money, look what we're doing with it. Flibble Flibble, i am a goat."

I like SW but i was downright insulted at that part of the movie. It would be nice if you could play the film without those scenes in the DVD edition.

Personally, I don't think it'll suck.

Why? Because I very rarely go to the movies to see a whole movie anymore, but rather, parts of it that I see in trailers or commercials (which always tend to be the best parts).

Like for Episode II, I really only wanted to see that to watch Yoda go "Badass Jedi" on Mr. Evil Dude (I don't remember his name, nor do I care to remember his name).

For Episode I, it was for the Darth Maul fight scene.

For Episode III, I just want to see it because: A) It'll show how Anakin goes over to the Dark Side, B) It should have some pretty cool fight scenes (I love violence), and C) Yoda goes badass again.

Just my two cents.

I got the SW trilogy on DVD for Christmas and I don't see the big deal with the changes. Oh no! Han Solo shoots first in the bar in Episode IV!!! Kill me!

The only two scenes that irked me were in Episode VI. The horribly-CG'ed alien singer for Jabba was just pathetic. It looked way too cheese, especially when it zoomed into one of their mouths and you could see the glistening CG spit and tonsil action. It was way too sheen.

I also hated when they had what's his pickle (the new Anakin actor) cut and pasted into Episode VI at the end. That was surprising and stupid. George Lucas obviously thinks we're all stupid and unworthy to realize the original movie was made 20 years ago and the actor probably wasn't even alive then. He thought if we watch the original ending for Episode VI and see some other dude playing Darth Vader, we'll cry ourselves to sleep.

*bitter*

But in the end those movies are rather enjoyable. And yes, Ep. III will be lame.

I think that the Trailer is cool! I don't like 1 and 2 but 3 might be good. Darth Vader in full costume is a mean dude! I am actually looking forward to this episode.

I thought the first two were great

It really annoys me how people say they suck, because they compare them to the older movies. I think it makes them think they are clever or something if they say that

I'm basing my opinion on how well the first two were. Or in this case, weren't. About 90% of the movie was in front of a green screen, but the cgi that was in the movie was horrible. And since there's only about 3 ppl on here who liked the first ones, its pretty obvious how bad the movies must be. Majority rules!

i like to look at it mathmatically...

in my opinion Episode I was pretty dissapointing. everything looked all shiny and CG* + Jar Jar was a complete moron (not even in a funny way either, he just made a bunch of 8 year old jokes, and talked like a doofus)

Episode II though was a little better...Jar Jar didn't do anything extremely stupid and everything looked a tiny bit less CG

so considering that the first one pretty much sucked (it was okay as a movie but not as a star wars movie) and the second one was pretty much mediocre...that shows that they are improving as they go. so the third one should be close to star wars standards

*the reason i don't like CG in star wars is as follows...

when star wars first came out it was spectacular because nobody had made a sci-fi movie that looked like everything in it was "used"(because he used good models instead of CG). previously everything had looked like it was hot off the shelf.

and what pisses me off though is how in episode I he goes back to the shiny new look...

i really don't think the story line of episode I or II is that bad at all...i just hate the CGness of it (and jar jar )

Of course none of us do thats why I use the new better, and most ultimate entertainment medium in the world. Duh duh dum dum bum baa daa (tries the ff7 victory music) VIDEO GAMES !!!!!!!!! Admit it the best bit of Star Wars stuff for a long time was KOTOR! I love that game I evan played thru it 14 times. (honestly I was hooked for almost 9 months)

kotor does rock out pretty hardcore, i tried playing as a light jedi, but when i first playe di thought the red force powers were dark side, and caus ei wanted none of it i just went and didnt have them. so come last boss, oh look at that he rapes me.the second time i played with a few force powers, but oh look i need this one, DEAD! then i playe da dark jedi and won and got control of the sith. never went back to play good side agaibn, im waiting for kotor 2 to come out here to light side it up.

Well, why shouldn't we compare them to the old movies? They are sorta part of the same series.

I didn't like ep1 and 2, i thought they we're dragged out... and over hyped. Before ep2 came out, all people could talk about was how "yoda was in a fight scene", what they failed to mention was, it was 6 seconds

I do like KOTOR though, and "Jedi knight 2".

I was REALLY excited when they announced episode 1.....it came out and i thought it was ok for a while but then changed my mind. I saw episode II a little less excited, although i thought the big battles were cool. I didn't even know about epidsode III until someone posted it. I thought that they had finally given up or were looking for a BETTER script writer. I can't believe lucas thinks he can write the scripts now. I will probably see episode III, im not excited at all tho. Maybe i will be surprised, maybe i wont. I did really like the original 3, but i think george took the star out of star wars( with a little of wars too).

Am I an Idiot...or is everyone else just really smart?

Guess what....... They are not finnishing at 3. They are going on to make furthur films past episode 6. My friend told me the story did not finnish, and hes found out they are thinking of making more, Episodes 7 8 and 9. So mabye it not over for you guys!!
