What was the problem and how did you fix it? This information might help others with the same problem. Always remember others as well as yourself. Even the smallest mistakes can be learned from.

Most of the time I find that it can easily be resolved by using the absolute path...

However, you may want to be moving stuff around and couldn't possibly know the absolute path of the final built exe...

So, you use the .\ notation.

Intstead of writing:
C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic\myproj\mygame\media\image.png

You'd write:
.\media\image.png

The .\ tags the absolute path of the exe onto the start of the path directory following it

Jess.

Um, just incase you did...Don't use GIF's. You'll get that error if you try to use LOAD IMAGE with a GIF.

I had this problem along time ago. I'm surprized that DBP doesn't support GIF's, but I'm sure there's a reason. Maybe it's a licensing thing?

In CodeKEEPER, don't use the (already buggy) File > Recent Files button... It runs your program relative to the CodeKEEPER folder rather than your program folder, so your program can't find the media it needs and CodeKEEPER can't find DBCompile.log...
