i really loved the look of world of warcrft, was really lookin forward to it, and then realised there'd be a monthly fee to pay for it, which i dont see any point to unless your a hardcore gamer, which im not.

The first MMORPG ever to not have a monthly fee was Guild Wars. They need to pay for the servers

since it's an online game you would of thought they would release it worldwide same day, but no. it wont be a part of my collection of games.

i've got both warcraft 3 games and the online version dont appeal to me.

Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo online are completely different internet usages than that of WoW... MUCH higher bandwidth needed for WoW. In starcraft and such, each computer directly links to the other peoples, however for WoW, your computer needs to connect to several giant servers to relay data to you, which requires maintenance, which costs money hence the online fee.

World of WarCraft is without doubt the easiest to get into MMORPG I've played. Quests are fun and differ quite a lot, and even on a low level you can start to grasp big story elements.

Great game in my eyes. If there is someone who dont like it though, I would like to hear its reason, it would be interesting.

Ya it looks like a great game which deals with most of the issues of todays mmorpgs and creates a awsome universe and storyline. The monthly fee is for servers although its probably to much for what it is.
